Another beautiful day for a hike, especially if it is Fossili Park. This is a popular hike with most people since it is easy and we have lunch on the beach of Sproat Lake. The trail is gently down to the bridge and continues down to the river. Each time we make this trip the river is different. In the winter it is raging and full while at this time of year it is quiet. We are able to stand where there would be several feet of water in the winter. The beach is calm, providing views of the other side of the lake. Occasionally a boat travels along by the houses on the other side or a house boat drifts across the lake.
