The Alternate group finally got to see the new trail this last weekend. The rain held off so it was a very enjoyable time. The trail is easy and beautifully done. There are a few up hills but they made any steep climbs into switchbacks which eliminates any need to scramble up or down. One way the hike was about 6 miles.

We placed a few cars at one end to make the trip a manageable 5 hours in total. Photos and the maps are on the photo gallery.
